Privacy Policy

Last updated 5 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Aiki collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our platform. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with applicable data-protection law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email, phone number, business details, address and profile information — as well as information generated through use of the platform, including programs you enrol in, work you submit, transactions, reviews and support messages. We also collect limited technical data (such as device and log information) to keep the service secure and working.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the platform: to create and manage accounts, match businesses and talents, process payments and payouts, run programs and reviews, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the service. We may also send you service-related communications and, where you have opted in, other updates.

3. Sharing your information

We share information only as needed to run Aiki — for example, with the businesses and talents you work with, with our payment provider to process transactions, and with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting, email and file storage) under appropriate confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Payments

Payments are handled by our third-party payment provider. Card and banking details are processed by that provider and are not stored by Aiki. We retain transaction records needed to run payouts, reporting and dispute resolution.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your information directly in your account settings. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

7. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of significant incidents where required.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be notified through the platform. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@growwithaiki.com.
